About Me

I'm James Proctor, I make art with software tools and work as a developer specializing in data visualization.

For a while now I've been focused on the ways the systems we build reflect our values, and using software systems to explore that relationship.

I’m also interested in tools to help people better understand the world around them, and enjoy finding creative uses for technology to solve problems and enable novel visual presentations.

Cute Pet, asks visitors to share their outlook on the future. Their responses are visualized onscreen, and in exchange the oracle shares it's enigmatic, cat-themed words of wisdom.

Also occasional downtime; this is hosted on a computer in my house.
